By following these best practices below, you will help your Applause management team to set up and run your test cases successfully.

 
Prepare Documentation for Test Cases

If you require Applause to help create test cases, please provide appropriate documentation (e.g. use cases, requirements docs, etc.). If this documentation does not exist, we can sit down with you and your team to gather the necessary requirements.

Determine Environments for Test Cases

When applicable, please determine the environments you want the test case(s) executed against and provide the Applause team with them.

Provide the Number of Test Case Executions per Environment

This is to help limit the number of results you want and ensure you get adequate coverage during testing.

Provide Approximate Time to Complete Test Cases

This gives the test team more info on whether they can commit to finishing the test case(s) within the time allotted.

New or Updated Test Case Coverage Require 24-hour Notice
