You can export Applause test cases to a TestRail project.

1. Open Applause Platform and select the desired Product linked with a TestRail project.
2. Click Test Case Management from the left navigation.
3. Navigate to the All Test Cases tab or open an existing test suite from the Test Suites tab.
4. Select the test case you want to export.
5. Click the three dot icon and select the option “Export to TestRail”.
6. Under the “Create New Test Cases in TestRail” section select the TestRail suite and section where you want to add the news test case.
7. Finally, click the “Export Test Cases” button and confirm your selection to initiate the export process.

 

Updating Exported Test Cases

In case you made any changes to the test cases inside the Applause platform, you may also want to update the exported test cases in TestRail.

1. Click Test Case Management from the left navigation.
2. Navigate to the All Test Cases tab or open an existing test suite from the Test Suites tab.
3. Select the test cases which were exported to TestRail previously but need updates.
4. Click the three dot icon and select “Export to TestRail”.
5. Make sure your selected test cases appear under section “Update Existing Test Cases in TestRail”.
6. Finally, click the “Export Test Cases” button and confirm your selection to initiate the update process.
