Applause takes your users’ privacy very seriously. As the users of your mobile application produce crash data, bug reports, and feedback, the Mobile SDK gathers specific non-identifying pieces of information from their mobile devices to help you better understand and correct the underlying bugs and defects.

Additionally:

  • The Mobile SDK does not gather contact list information or any information from other apps installed on the phone (that are not system related).
  • The Mobile SDK uses HTTPS to encrypt transmit all information to the Mobile SDK server. User data is always encrypted when transmitted over the network.

Please note: You can use the Mobile SDK to manually log additional information about the app, including any of the information that the Mobile SDK does not gather on its own. If you manually configure the Mobile SDK to log additional information, Applause is not responsible for the privacy implications of that information.
